Olivia Newton-John, the four-time Grammy-winning English-Australian singer and actress, and fat music star, has died at the age of 73. BBC.

Olivia Newton-John passed away Monday morning at her home in Southern California, surrounded by family and friends. She has been battling breast cancer for a long time. In 2017, the actress revealed that she had had cancer for the third time, which had also spread to her spine. He was also known as a supporter of anti-cancer, nature and animal protection.

“Olivia has been a symbol of victory and hope for over 30 years, as she has shared her breast cancer journey with us,” her husband, John Easterling, wrote on her Facebook page.

Olivia Newton-John was born on September 26, 1948 in Cambridge, England. His family immigrated to Australia in 1954 after his father got a job at the University of Melbourne. Here Olivia began to become more serious about singing. In 1966, while on a trip to England, he recorded his first single, and in 1971, he wrote his first solo album, If Not For You, guardian.

He represented Great Britain at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, coming in fourth with the song Long Live Love. Then followed a period in his career when he sang mainly country songs. In 1977, she got one of the main roles in the musical Grease, playing John Travolta’s partner. Randal Kleiser’s film and the cast were a huge hit, grossing $366 million worldwide, while the soundtrack was the second best-selling album of the year in the United States. Grease’s success made him world famous, and his career took a new turn, culminating with the 1981 album Physicist.

His most famous songs include Banks of the Ohio, Let Me Be There, If You Love Me, Let Me Know, I Love You Sincerely, You Are the One I Want, Xanadu and the Physicist. Her most famous film role was Sandy Olson (along with John Travolta) in the 1978 film Grease and Kira in the 1980 musical Xanadu.

John Travolta said goodbye to his colleague and friend on Instagram. She wrote: “Dear Olivia, you’ve made our whole life so much better. Your impact has been incredible. I love you so deeply. We’ll meet at the end of the road and we’ll all be together again. From the first moment I saw you, you have forever: your Danny, your John!”
