Every year, European Bike Week® is seen as the closing chord of the European motorcycle season, and not only Harley-Davidson owners, fans and motorcycle enthusiasts participate in it – and this is no coincidence: its unique appeal is partly due to the fact that it can discover the most… Distinctive Central European neighborhood. Corinthia itself offers exceptional scenery and fantastic routes to explore throughout the event – including the famous lakeside route next to the iconic ‘Harleywood’ sign and the legendary motorcycle statue on the main road from Villach.
European Bike Week® will be a unique event in 2023, celebrating three major anniversaries! In addition to celebrating Harley-Davidson’s 120th anniversary throughout the year, 2023 also marks the 40th anniversary of the Harley Owners Group® and the 25th anniversary of the first Harley-Davidson European Bike Week® event at Faker Sea Lake.
Also new this year is the opportunity to view the newly introduced CVO™ Street Glide® and CVO™ Road Glide® models. Currently, Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring motorcycles contain the most advanced technological innovations the brand has ever produced. In addition, a new Adventure Zone will be completed at the European Bike Week® site, which includes a technical off-road zone. Here, legendary figures of Dakar, Joan Pedrero (Spain) and Mick Extance (UK), as well as off-road motorcycle expert and instructor, Ralf Wiesenfeller (Germany), will hold dynamic displays, motorcycle education and exciting rides. – Training on road motorcycle driving techniques.
It is possible to experience a wide range of 2023 Harley-Davidson models in the HD Demo Area, from the Sport and Cruiser grades to the Grand America Touring bikes. In addition, more 120th Anniversary models will be on display at HD Expo.
The free Custom Bike Show – organized with support from tire manufacturer Metzeler – will take place on Friday, September 8, where we welcome applications from all motorcycle builders who would like to enter their own home-built Harley-Davidson motorcycle. All participants can get rich with exclusive gifts. At the show, 15 awards will be presented in six motorcycle categories, including the Best in Show Award and the Metzeler Audience Award.
Don’t forget the legendary Harley-Davidson parade on Saturday, September 9, which will be watched by thousands of motorcycle riders from different brands and thousands of local spectators.
