Student Olympic Games were also organized in Hajdoszoboszlo and Pospokladny, in which members of the Dorogi AC wrestling department also participated. During this time, Christopher Kalani fought at the U23 World Championships in Albania, where he placed 11th in the 72kg weight group with one winner and two losers.

After three regional Student Olympics in October, Hajdúszoboszlo hosted its first Student Olympic Final of the month, where the under-15 age group could show off their freestyle skills. More than 150 teenage wrestlers tried their luck at the Student Olympics organized in the city’s sports hall, and many talents who also managed to stand on the podium at the European Summer Age Group Championships in Kaposvár took to the mat. Result: 62 kg Turda Rigo – 5th place.

Qualification for this year’s Student Olympic Finals II was possible from the regional Student Olympic Championships in Szigetszentmiklós, Nagykanizsa and Orosház. Among the participants, a total of 153 young athletes lined up on the three mats at the Gellert Sandor Sports Center in Pospokladani on Saturday. Results: 50 kg Oliver Eker – 5th place, 69 kg Dozi Botonde – 1st place.
