Konami has previously officially confirmed that it will be remaking one of the PS2 classics, Silent Hill 2, but according to the latest information, the publisher is also planning several remakes.
As part of the company’s quarterly financial report, Konami provided new information about its games in development. Regarding the MGS3: Snake Eater remake, they explained that they are currently working hard on Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, which recreates the story, characters and gameplay of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved games. installments in the Metal Gear series, while also keeping the graphics adapted to modern expectations.
In addition, it seems that the publisher coincidentally confirmed that we will get many re-releases of Silent Hill, as they used the plural number to refer to new versions and completely new parts of the Silent Hill series, which has become famous as a psychological horror game.
Konami has only confirmed a remake of Silent Hill 2 at the moment, but unless “remake” is accidentally used in the plural, we can probably expect more remakes after Silent Hill 2 Remake’s release.
