Although the author had already died, Alexandra Arlango, president of the production company, knew after reading the first novel that the story should be turned into a series. “We contacted the family of the deceased author and with their blessing began searching for someone who would bring this series of books into the 21st century.” Arlango stated. – “In the end, we chose Eve Hedderwick-Turner: she would be the perfect choice.”
