Nokia created an 8-inch tablet

Nokia created an 8-inch tablet

Of course, it’s questionable how much of a reason there are built-in tablets, while smartphones already have huge screens, but since devices like the iPad Mini are still popular, there’s likely to be a customer base behind the product. It’s also certain that not all of its members have the money to surprise themselves with an expensive Apple device, and Nokia is trying to lure them in with its latest tablet, an affordable one with an 8-inch screen.

Alongside several classic phones, HMD-run Nokia has unveiled the T10 tablet, an entry-level device with an 8-inch screen. The device is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, with an optional LTE modem. By the way, the chipset uses an eight-core CPU, which consists of two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55.

The former performs performance-oriented calculations, while the latter is designed to perform less resource-intensive tasks. As for the operational memory, 3 or 4 GB of RAM is available depending on the chosen configuration, while the internal storage can be 32 or 64 GB, and of course there is the possibility of expansion through a micro SD card.

The Nokia T10 is also equipped with cameras, on the back there is an 8-megapixel unit complete with auto focus and LED flash, and the front image recorder has a 2-megapixel resolution. So far, we’ve talked about everything but the screen, although most tablets are nothing more than a huge screen.

In this case, it is not too huge, it is only 8 inches, the panel is based on LCD technology, the resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels, it is also certified by Netflix. Noteworthy features of the tablet include headphone output, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and the already mentioned 4G modem, if you opt for such a version. Inside the Nokia T10 runs a 5250mAh battery, which can be charged at a maximum of 10W, but at least via the USB-C connector.

Nokia T10 is equipped with a stereo amplifier with OZO support, and it is also worth noting that the tablet can be used as a secondary screen next to the computer, which significantly contributes to the productivity of the owner. The device is running Android 12 and the T10 promised to receive at least three major updates in the future.

The T10 will only be sold in one color, which is ocean blue, and in some markets a transparent case will be included in the tablet’s box – a little kindness. The Nokia T10 Wi-Fi Only version will be available for 159 euros (about 62 thousand HUF), which will add the 3/32 GB configuration to the basket of the dear customer. Distribution will start in August.
