A homeless Italian won tens of thousands of euros in the lottery, but he cannot get a single piece of iron without a social security card.

A homeless man won 37 thousand euros (14 million forints) in the Italian SuperEnalotto race with a ticket worth 1.5 euros, but luck smiled at him in vain, but due to the lack of appropriate documents, he could not get the money, the newspaper wrote. Corriere Adriatico.

Gianluigi Cassano has been playing the same seven numbers for a long time, while in the current draw he also hit four numbers and the Superstar – an additional number that can be played with a separate amount, which could increase the prize up to a hundred times – thus winning €37,045, like eight other lucky ones. After deducting contributions and taxes, this means about 30 thousand euros (11.5 million forints). However, although Cassano unsuccessfully wins, he cannot access the funds due to not having the proper tax number.

To obtain the award, he requires a health card, which he does not have.
