The engine change promises a more realistic and detailed scene, but may make fans wait longer. They can clearly say goodbye to the beta testing promised in December of this year, and in fact, apart from some excerpts, there is no specific information about the game. According to the story, an unknown enemy (Legion) is destroying Earth, and humanity’s last hope is to extract the Autobots from the ruins and make them work again. In the trailer, we can (presumably) see the events from the astronaut’s point of view, so players should actually be able to step into the role of the Autobots.
Although the designs have been kept completely secret, character appearances have already depicted the appearance of the main characters, and they even revealed that the disguises will likely join the story at some point. Interestingly, the games packaging originally did not read “Reactivate”, but rather “Rise”, which may have been the initial title early in development. Based on the figures, the look of the characters will have a strong G1 touch, but even so, it’s not cartoony at all, the more realistic visuals are brought together quite well with the original ideas. Pre-orders for these figures are already in, and they will officially be available on store shelves starting February 2024. The Transformers: Reactivation Its future is murky, but if we’re to believe Teletraan’s words, we might be able to try it out sometime in the second half of 2024.
