According to a recent report, Sony will make two very important changes to the Xperia 1 VI, which means that the flagship phone will be a little different from what we are used to from the manufacturer.
One of these is the 4K screen, which we can say goodbye to, the new top model could come with a 2K+ screen. By the way, this seems like a rational decision, because according to most people, the phone's 4K resolution was a huge overkill.
The other change, which can be clearly seen with the naked eye, can be seen in the aspect ratio. Sony will reportedly ditch the extra 21:9 aspect ratio, and the Xperia 1 VI could get a more traditional 19.5:9 format. This will make the phone itself wider. Apart from this, the usual design can remain.
Overall, Sony's best mobile phone may lose a bit of its uniqueness, but if the jack connector, angular design and dedicated camera button remain, fans will still have a reason to choose it.
