Surprise, Humankind was also released for consoles

The SEGA and Amplitude Studio joint game has arrived on consoles without prior announcement. The last information we have is from last October, when the console port was indefinitely delayed, and now we can start digging into where our jaws dropped.

Humankind is a 4X strategy game, and we tested it too. It is a complex work full of great ideas, in which our decisions have weight, not small weight. We can experience human history – even more than once, as the game has a high replayability factor – in this adventure created with fun visuals.

Last October, the console outlets were delayed indefinitely, but now they are available on digital store shelves without any banners. For now, it’s only available in digital form, but on October 10 you’ll also receive a physical form for PlayStation 5 under the name Humankind Heritage Edition. Arriving on consoles with the first DLC, African and Latin American cultures, the game adds a total of 12 new cultures, 11 new wonders, 16 independent nations, 30 narrative events and 48 paths to the core experience.

Humankind is released today, August 22, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. It is also available in Game Pass on Xbox.
