Fans can be really hungry for a really good Alien movie, but also for a really good Alien game. The latter may come in a form that few have ever thought of before: as a virtual reality game. at least Servius The studio team thinks so, because they do Alien: Rogue IncursionR.
So this will be a VR horror game that won't be directly connected to the movies, but will instead tell a completely standalone story. No details have been revealed about what exactly it will be about, but they promise that it will recreate everything that once made us love the Alien movies.
The aliens (en masse, so there will be more of them) will be intelligent and unpredictable, so they are sure to annoy players, who have never felt close to them before. However, unfortunately, the bunny trailer above doesn't get us any closer to what it will look like.
We know the Unreal Engine will work during the game, and will also be available for Meta Quest 3, SteamVR, and PS VR2. We could be gearing up for the premiere sometime at the end of this year, so we'll definitely learn more about the game by then.
