Horn in the air The Aeropark Aviation Museum produced a documentary to mark the centenary of Hungarian commercial aviation. The film was screened on World Civil Aviation Day at Budaurus Airport.

As is known, the first Hungarian airliners took off on scheduled flights to Vienna in 1923. Malert (formerly known as Magyar Légiforgalmi Rt.) took off from Mátyásföld, and Aëroexpress Rt. From Gellért tér, from the waters of the Danube.

According to the Aeropark announcement, the Aviation Museum crew photographed in many places in order to present the most interesting Hungarian aviation sites, pilots, their types and turning points from the last century:

Exciting stories, special adventures, behind-the-scenes secrets on board and at the airport, generations of pilots,

Extraordinary careers, historic aircraft and heroic rescues feature in the two-hour set.

The film’s nearly forty characters are dedicated aviation enthusiasts, who tell stories not only about their profession, but also about themselves in the documentary.
