Recently, a mysterious new Samsung phone received the necessary certifications from the Chinese TENAA office, which revealed the main specifications of the device. The phone bearing the ID SM-C5560 will likely be launched as Galaxy C55 or Galaxy Y55.
The smartphone will be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display, which will display content in Full HD+ resolution. A 13-megapixel selfie camera will be placed on the front panel, which will likely be installed in a notch on the display. The certification document also confirms that the fingerprint reader will be part of the organic display, and that the phone's storage will be expandable using a microSD card.
According to the certification documents, the smartphone is powered by an unspecified chipset operating at a clock speed of 2.0 GHz. Depending on the package, the device will be sold with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
On the back of the mysterious Samsung phone is a 50-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and an additional 2-megapixel module. The latter is likely a macro sensor, but that's just a tip for now.
According to TENAA, the device will be powered by a battery with a nominal capacity of 4,855 mAh, which means the typical value will likely be around 5,000 mAh. There's no more information about the smartphone yet, but more details about the Samsung SM-C5560 are likely to emerge in the coming weeks.
