Vivo V30 debuts with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset

The Vivo V30 is finally official, immediately starting its career in international markets. Inside the smartphone is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and its power supply is provided by a large battery. In terms of design and dimensions, it is the same as the Vivo S18, but with better cameras.

The Vivo V30 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which displays content at a resolution of 1260p and a maximum brightness of 2800 nits. The image refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the screen also includes a fingerprint reader mounted below the screen.

The curved screen is covered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is a 4nm manufacturing process, with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 720 graphics controller. As for the operational configurations, memory and internal storage, there will be four versions of the device. The phone can be purchased with 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and the internal storage capacity can range between 128 and 512 GB depending on the package.

The Vivo V30 is the first smartphone available in global markets to feature the 50MP Omnivision OV50E sensor, a new 1/1.55-inch design, which serves as the primary image capture module. The camera array also includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle module with autofocus. The front camera is also 50 megapixels, and is located inside a center-aligned hole below the top bezel of the screen.

The hardware of the device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, the battery supports 80W FlashCharge charging method. The phone runs on the Funtouch 14 system based on Android 14, and if the manufacturer's promise is true, software support can be expected to last for at least 4 years. The Vivo V30 will be available in four colours, complete with beautiful back textures.
