The economy is being boosted by the infrastructure development of the industrial park in Ajka

In his welcoming speech, Mayor Béla Schwarz said that the Főnix Industrial Park is developing intensively. Three projects were awarded for the development of the region, two of which were Top category, and the third was Top Plus category, within the framework of which they received a total of HUF 1.9 billion. The first project was delivered on October 27, while work on the other two projects is underway.

– We are very lucky that the Minister of Regional Development Tibor Navracskes is our Member of Parliament, and the industrial area was not bad before, but with this development we can make it even more attractive for investors – added the mayor.

Investors are applying every month, there is a lot of interest, they have not signed a contract with anyone yet, but they hope that after the developments, investors will arrive who can be at the forefront of the Hungarian economy.

Minister Tibor Navrášeks stated that Agca has always been one of the engines of the Hungarian economy, contributing more to the budget and industrial production than the size of its territory and population. Tradition also obliges Agca to once again become an industrial center in Transdanubia, one of the important pillars of the Hungarian economy.

It is a pleasure to be able to help in the development of the Főnix Industrial Park, and we are confident that foreign investors will also come, said the Minister. – During last year’s election campaign, when Minister Palković visited Agca, there was already talk about the need to strengthen the city’s presence in the automotive and related industries. We are confident that among interested parties there will be those who are suitable for this sector, and that AJCA will remain a dominant industrial center in the region.
