Shakira took home the award for Best Song at the Latin Grammy Awards for her song commemorating her ugly divorce from Pique. At the show, she took the stage with one of her ex-husband’s top rivals, Sergio Ramos, as a surprise – The mathematical bible says.

Shakira and Gerard Pique announced their separation last June after a relationship that lasted 11 years. The joint statement read: “We regret to confirm our separation. For the well-being of our children, who are most important to us, we ask that their privacy be respected. Thank you for your understanding.” Meanwhile, Shakira herself was less helpful in maintaining her privacy, as she cheekily told her ex with BZRP Music Sessions #53: “You changed your Ferrari for a Twingo,” she sang, among other things, in reference to a football player. New Foot Girlfriend After attending, the Grammy jury also expressed their appreciation for the song, with the Colombian singer winning Best Song of the Year and Best Pop Song of the Year.

Shakira (46 years old) also spoke frankly about her divorce from Pique outside of the song, and described that period as the darkest hours of her life. Then in January this year, he released another song about the former Barcelona defender.

On Friday night, Shakira caused a little surprise by accepting the 53rd BZRP Music Sessions Awards with Sergio Ramos at the Latin Grammys. As a Real Madrid defender, Ramos was Pique’s biggest rival in La Liga.

Shakira presented the award to her children, then spoke in her speech about the “difficult moments” of the past year, and also thanked her Spanish fans for the love flowing towards her.

By the way, in an interview with Billboard magazine in September, the singer was asked if she still thinks it’s right to publicly reveal her feelings for Pique at BZRP Music Sessions No. 53. He replied:

“When I recorded the track, my team members said to me: ‘Please change this.’ Don’t think about those words. I said:

‘Why not? I am not a diplomat at the United Nations. I am an artist and I have the right to process my feelings through my music.
