The Bethesda game, released in 2011, is still very popular and even better thanks to user-made mods.
At the time of writing, more than 57,000 people have already downloaded the latest Skyrim mod for PC, Skyrim Together Reborn, which can be used to turn the game into a kind of MMO mini-game. The designers originally intended the mode to be for 2-8 person co-op fun, but they also tested it with 30 players and it worked great. Although the mod was published only yesterday on the NexusMods page, more than 50 thousand people have already downloaded it. In comparison, the second most recently added mod was downloaded by 30,000 people “only” in one month.
The video above shows in detail how to install and use the mod. You will need Skyrim Special Edition 1.6 to install it, it does not currently support Skyrim VR or earlier versions of the game. During multiplayer, players can complete game missions together, and progress is shared between them. Although the situation is not yet perfect, it can lead to interesting bugs, but the developers promise to fix them as soon as possible. Anyway, Skyrim Together Reborn is a great community mod that brings a new color to the Bethesda game.
