One place - Bauhaus March in Pécs

Tamas Torma and the Ege Hilli team invite viewers on a Bauhaus tour from the city center of Pécs to the hillside. From 1920, Alfred Forbat worked in the office of Walter Gropius in Weimar, then also in the Soviet Union. He moved to Sweden at the end of the 1930s, but before that, he also created while returning to his hometown – let's see how.

Jewish Cemetery on Salgotarjani Street // Place + Forum of Architects

Budapest's most unique Jewish cemetery will be 150 years old this year. Béla Lajta designed huge cemeteries and a funeral home here, and members of many Jewish families with a long history are buried here, among which the Hatvany-Deutsch family mausoleum stands out for its size. The cemetery was closed in the 1950s. Its special atmosphere is given by the tombs that combine ancient decorations with modern forms, and the nature forest that is gradually recovering.
