The company confirmed that Mercedes-Benz’s transformation will continue:
Hybrid and pure electric cars already account for 20 percent of total sales.
In the first nine months of the year, sales of battery electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz passenger cars nearly doubled, an increase of 97 percent. Car sales in the luxury car category increased by 6 percent during the same period. Overall, Mercedes-Benz sold 1,529,800 vehicles in the first three quarters, up 2 percent from the previous year.
Sales of Mercedes-Benz cars have developed differently in each region.
