The palace announced that the disease was discovered in its early stages after undergoing various tests for benign prostatic hyperplasia. The monarch issued a statement last night.

King Karolyi made a statement after his diagnosis

Buckingham Palace also shared the King's message on Instagram, which began: “I would like to express my deep thanks for the many messages of support and well wishes I have received over the past few days.”

The type of cancer that was discovered in his body has not yet been revealed, but after the diagnosis, Prince Harry immediately jumped on a plane to visit his father. He has since returned to the United States, but the Duke of Sussex plans to visit his home frequently due to his ill father.
