The first image of the Deadpool-Wolverine duo from the shoot of Deadpool 3 has been released. It was previously known that after the 2017 Logan movie – in which he said goodbye to the Wolverine/Wolverine/Wolf character – Hugh Jackman would once again play the character that made him a star 23 years ago alongside Ryan Reynolds, But now long- I also waited for the picture:
And this photo is especially for fans, because that yellow dress (OK, and the mask that goes with it) is the Wolverines’ most iconic look, and one character even poked fun at it in the first X-Men movie. In 2000 – so far, nine and a half movies (if you include the scene after the Deadpool 2 cast list) that hasn’t worn this costume once.
There have been numerous rumors about other actors who will be reprising their previous roles as superheroes, but among the many names, there seems to be one very surprising one now besides Jackman: Jennifer Garner. She played Elektra in Ben Affleck’s moderately successful 2003 Daredevil movie, where her character was killed off — and then the filmmakers brought her back two years later for a standalone movie that was far worse than Daredevil. For now, it’s everyone’s guess why the Deadpool crew would bring back his character (besides the fact that he also has a shared comic book history with Deadpool).
