Israel unveiled the new generation Merkava tank equipped with artificial intelligence Sciences

Israel is putting its new Merkava Barak, a high-tech fifth-generation tank, into service, where artificial intelligence helps soldiers aim as quickly and accurately as possible, thus destroying their enemies in time before they can strike them.

Over the past five years, the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Israel Defense Forces have been developing the next-generation tank, which they say is key to the nation’s future. Compared to previous versions, improvements include the latest technologies, e.g Sensors, artificial intelligence, networks and active defense systems.

Barak (Lightning) is expected to replace all existing Merkava 4 tanks in the 401st Brigade by the end of 2025. The tank will also receive the IronVision helmet developed by Elbit Systems, thanks to which soldiers will not have to look outside the tank to find their way, but will have all Information on the helmet. The Barak is also equipped with touch screens and a powerful app store to assist your crew during missions.
