Junnila resigned just 10 days after she just survived a vote of no confidence in her, according to reports Politico .

The incident occurred at a party hosted by the local organization of the far-right Finnish Party in Rissio in March. There, Janella noted that the election number for the local party’s president was 88, the same number that Jonella herself received in the 2019 election. The number 88 is widely known among neo-Nazis as a symbol for the “Heil Hitler” salute, with the letter H being the eighth letter of alphabet, so 88 stands for HH to them.

After that, new details emerged, in which the minister joked about the Nazis and the Holocaust on several occasions. Finally, a vote of confidence took place in the Finnish Parliament, to which the politician survived with a score of 95:86.
