With spring just around the corner, it's time to go through your drawers and shelves and get rid of all your unused items. With the help of the following tips, tidying up will be a quick and efficient task, which will not only make your home more beautiful but also refresh you.
Get rid of unnecessary things easily
Many studies have shown that decluttering and getting rid of unnecessary things is good for our mental health. We will simply feel better in an organized and clutter-free home, which will of course also look better after a thorough tidying up. It's not always easy to get started with decluttering, especially if you have accumulated junk lurking deep in your drawers and cabinets for years, but some well-proven tips recommended by experts help speed up the process.

First, allocate enough time for scrapping and plan when and where you want to finish it. Set realistic goals, like giving yourself 20 to 30 minutes to review the account to make sure you get rid of all the crap. Start with the room you spend the most time in, or the room with the clutter. However, plan for the long term and don't want to do everything at once, because you may easily lose interest in everything. Music can help make the task easier, but if you don't feel like doing all that, ask your friends or even a professional for help.

This is how you know when you no longer need something
It's not always easy to determine what you still need and what you no longer need. It's worth asking the famous Japanese tidying expert, Marie Kondo, whether this thing gives you pleasure or not. You can read more about the KonMari method in our previous article. Additional questions can also help you make your decision, such as why you keep the item, does it have any sentimental significance, how often do you use it, would you use it again, do you have something similar, does it still fulfill its original function, and could someone else benefit from it in a meaningful way? better?
If you answer these questions honestly, you will be able to get rid of unnecessary things more easily. Which you can then put in separate bags depending on what you are going to do with it. You can donate it to a charity, sell it online, or simply throw it in the trash. It is useful to keep these bags in different places, for example in the bottom of your wardrobe, so that you can put clothes that you no longer wear there. When the bag is full, it is time to get rid of it, and over time you will get rid of all unnecessary debris.
