What we only hoped for on Monday became a reality on Tuesday morning: Zsofia Kovacs reached the series finals at the World Championships in Kitakyushu by jumping hurdle, Kasas Baksky.

At the end of qualifying day on Monday Zsofia Kovacs (DKSE) at an ambiguous level, Bácskay Csenge (Postman SE) was third in both jumps, but on Tuesday, three more groups followed in the World Cup qualifiers in Kitakyushu.
Well, and the excitement for the two Hungarians to stay there in the top eight so they can prove themselves again on Saturday in the final.
They stayed there.
Just as they were in “pairs” for third on Monday, they stayed that way at the end of playoffs – with the difference that two gymnasts went in front of them based on Tuesday’s results. However, all this doesn’t really mean anything in terms of progress, since then Csenge Bácskay and Zsófia Kovács can both climb to the podium in the final of the jump and half-maximum on Saturday.
In our singles composite competition, Bácskay and Székely Zója (Postás SE) were one of our competitors – the former placing 25th and the latter 26th in qualifying, so the reserve 1 and 2 of the Final 24 could continue in case any of us withdraw is the competition.
