There are a surprising number of people who never want to travel again

Business consulting firm Morning Consult asked more than 16,000 people about their travel habits around the world.

The survey, which was conducted in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Great Britain and the United States, among others, revealed their country of residence. They are the least willing to go out.

The Japanese seem to be the most travel-averse, with 35 percent of those surveyed in the island nation saying they would never plan to travel for recreation again.

They are followed by South Koreans, of whom 15 percent abstain from travel, followed by China and the United States, with 14 percent each.

Among Europeans, the French like to go out the least, and 10 percent do not want to take part in such experiences, while eight percent of Britons and six percent of Spaniards choose to stay indoors.

Covid fears are hindering much, but economic uncertainty, high gasoline prices, inflation and recession fears also contribute Desire to travel in decline.
