The Arkana was originally introduced by Renault at the end of 2020, so it can be said that it is ready for an update. That’s only because the French manufacturer switched to a new logo in the meantime, and the Arkana has been sold with the previous board so far. Fortunately, the list of changes does not end there. Incorporating the new emblem, the radiator grille has been slightly modified to better fit the SUV’s front design.
Renault has also simplified the range of equipment levels, now only three options are available to customers, which have been given the fancy names Evolution, Techno and Spirit Alpine. The latter is perhaps the most interesting of all, as it brings the most novelties and aims to replace the previous RS Line version.
In contrast to the equipment levels, the engine range has not changed. The 1.33-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid assistance remained, with 140 or 160 hp, also depending on the thickness of the purse. At the same time, the full hybrid system with a 36 kW electric motor and a 1.6 liter petrol engine, as well as a 1.2 kWh battery, with which, according to Renault, the Arkana can drive exclusively in cities for 80% of the trip is electric.
