One of the Ubisoft studios will save Anno 2070!

theGeek

The French publisher has finally revealed that it wants to say more about its games (while today it’s talking about Skull & Bones, so the rumors about that were true).

A few days ago, we wrote about the fact that in September the online services of many games will be terminated by Ubisoft (making DLCs unavailable in some cases). But Ubisoft Mainz, which developed the Anno 2070, doesn’t want its game to end in the digital graveyard (after all, it’s one of the titles on the verge of closing). The studio responded shortly after the French publisher’s announcement issue.

After initial investigations, Ubisoft Mainz has decided that it will dedicate some of its development resources to upgrading the legacy infrastructure of the online game Anno 2070 to a new system, so that the online section of their game can survive even after the said date (September 1st) … but they They cannot guarantee that they will successfully update or replace old services according to their plans. (If fans are able to get back online after years of dropping the servers of Batman: Arkham Origins, let’s trust the German developers!)

Anno 2070 was released on November 17, 2011, so we can talk about a game that is more than ten years old, but the age of strategy games is not the same as the age of a sports game released every year: after the release, many people still buy it years later! Many people on Steam are negative about Ubisoft’s announcement with evaluation They’ve seen the game, but many don’t yet know that this is a glaring case.

The French publisher announced that today, at eight in the evening Hungarian time, the YoutubeHe’ll give a new Skull & Bones presentation, but let’s count on Ubisoft next. There will be one Ubisoft Striker Also, specifically on September 10th at 9pm. this is Youtube-You are, TwitchThe French publisher on the site We can watch. We don’t know what to expect. Maybe Assassin’s Creed: Infinity, but then there’s The Division: Heartland (also leaked), Splinter Cell remake, Beyond Good & Evil 2, but maybe Ghost Recon Frontline, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, maybe Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora also deserves some time on the air…
