Here’s the list: In 2024, these destinations will be the most modern

In a recently published American Express Travel post, the 10 most popular destinations for 2024 were announced. The list was compiled based on cardholders’ global travel bookings and recommendations from 6,000 travel advisors. CNBC.

Travelers are looking for new experiences and cultural immersion when choosing their vacation destination, Audrey Hindley, president of American Express Travel, said in a press release.

According to the report, these trendy destinations are especially popular with Generation Z and millennial travelers. Between 2019 and 2023, Japan saw a staggering increase in bookings of more than 1,300%. San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, saw a more than 400% increase in bookings over the same period, while Australia saw a nearly 800% increase among Generations Z and Y.

Above all, the following 10 destinations are among the most fashionable:

  • Adelaide Hills, Australia
  • Bodrum, Türkiye
  • Cervo, Italy
  • Saint Kitts is Nevis
  • Niseko, Japan
  • San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
  • Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
  • Seychelles Islands
  • Udaipur, India
  • Zermatt, Switzerland
