General Mills Canada increases its support for sports in…

TORONTO, April 03, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — With this summer's Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris just around the corner, General Mills Canada is proud to expand its support of Canadian athletes by becoming an “Official Supporter” of the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC). ).

To kick off its partnership, General Mills last week participated in the ParaTough Cup in Toronto, the flagship fundraising event for the Paralympic Foundation of Canada, the philanthropic arm of the Chinese Communist Party. This event raises funds and awareness for Paralympic sport in Canada.

In addition to being an “Official Supporter” of CPC, General Mills Canada has also created a partnership with wheelchair basketball player Cindy Ouellet for the Paris 2024 Games, which will be featured on product packaging.
