In the first week of the summer admission session, Babeş-Bolyai University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (BBTE) was the most popular, with 2,831 people enrolled with a bachelor’s degree.
It is followed by the College of Psychology and Educational Sciences, with 2,604 applications submitted, and the College of Mathematics and Informatics, whose bachelor’s degree programs have an enrollment of 1,696. The College of Politics, Public Administration and Communication Sciences is next with 1,677 applicants, and the College of Law, with 1,159 applications received.
Enrollment in the university’s master’s degree programs is also now taking place. The most popular master’s courses in the first week of enrolment are the courses of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (984 applicants), the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (913 applicants), the Faculty of Politics, Public Administration and Communication Sciences. In the first week of the summer admission session, more than 15,470 applicants who graduated from high school submitted their admission files for the undergraduate programs announced by Babeş-Bolyai University (BBTE), and for the 2023-2024 academic year, nearly 3,900 applied for on master’s programmes.
By the end of the first week, 13,408 people had applied for bachelor’s degrees, and 2,067 had submitted their documents for full-time courses, distance learning courses and reduced-attendance courses.
3895 application files for master’s programs were received.
In some BBTE colleges, application continues this week as well, for both core and master’s courses.
Future new students can apply to the university from 10 July 2023. BBTE offers 5,298 tuition-free and 10,892 required undergraduate places, as well as 2,980 places available for those interested in distance and reduced-visit education.
At the Masters level, for the 2023-2024 academic year, BBTE is advertising 3,627 tuition-free places and over 6,284 required tuition-fee places.
Admission takes place between 10 and 27 July 2023. The admission calendar includes the application period, entrance examinations, publication of results, submission of appeals, confirmation of places and the period for redistribution of remaining places in the 22 faculties of the university.
Regarding admission for the 2022-2023 academic year, the faculties of Babeş-Bolyai University have developed several written or oral tests to test students’ knowledge and cognitive abilities. Colleges take into consideration the matriculation exam average with different weights.
