A serious challenge awaited the athletes of the Zombathely Control Sports Association last weekend, as a long journey and a tough test ensued.
Zoltán Dancsó's students traveled to Békéscsaba, where the national finals of the Student Olympiad competitions were held. Competitors came from sixteen provinces of the country, who wanted to represent their city, school and sports association as effectively as possible. A large number of contestants reached the finals, with a total of approximately 740 entries.
The record number of interests clearly reflects how good the competition is in Viharsaruk. Controll SE from Szombathely was represented at the event by 9 athletes, many of whom performed beyond their strengths and achieved interesting moments. As a result, the Ironman competitors won fourteen medals in the final.
