The ROG Phone 8 models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM for the base model, and up to 24GB of RAM available for the Pro version. The novelties will be equipped with UFS 4.0 storage, the ROG Phone 8 could offer 256GB of space and the Pro version up to 1TB for its future owner. Both the smartphones carry the same RGB logo on the back.
The rear camera setup will also be revamped, and according to the news, the primary image recording module will be a 50-megapixel unit with a Sony IMX890 module, complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a brand new 32-megapixel camera. – Megapixel telephoto camera capable of 3x zoom.
