In 2020, the GMC Hummer EV is introduced, which is exaggerated in proportion to a sports car: it squeezes a range of 500 km from its battery with a capacity of more than 212 kWh, and weighs more than 4 tons, yet it completes the sprint at a speed of 100 km / h in about 3 seconds. General Motors has partnered with Recon Power Bikes to launch an electric bike with similar utility value.

The honest name of the e-bike GMC Hummer EV All-Wheel-Drive e-Bike, which covers kinship and driving: Like a pickup truck, the bike is all-wheel drive, and front and rear are powered by Bafang hub motors, each with a working power of 750 watts. A total of 2,400 watts can be temporarily saved, of course, according to American rules, the maximum speed remains below 50 km / h. The battery capacity of the LG is 1 kWh, but it can be removed for charging off the bike. The range of the Hummer e-bike is between 40 and 65 km.

The interesting thing is that you can choose from several driving modes: in Traction, only front wheel drives, in Cruise mode, only rear, and in Adrenaline, both. There is a four-piston disc brake responsible for stopping, which is necessary due to the weight of 43 kg without the driver. For all this, GM is asking for $4,000 (~1.7 million HUF), and the bike can be ordered at GMC dealers and online.
