The dimensions of the Sony Xperia 1 VI have been revealed

About a week ago, it was rumored that Sony would say goodbye to 4K resolution for the next Xperia 1 model, and that it would switch to a somewhat more traditional aspect ratio than the current 21:9. Now new details have emerged regarding the Sony Xperia 1 VI phone, and the expected dimensions of the phone have been revealed.

In the image below, you can see how the new model's screen compares to your current device. As you can see, the board will be 2mm shorter vertically, but about 5mm wider. According to expectations, the Sony Xperia 1 VI could be presented to the big name sometime in May.

According to a previous leak, the smartphone will be available with up to 16 GB of RAM, but the base model will not contain less than 12 GB of RAM. This previous leak also mentioned that the Xperia 5 VI will hit shelves with 8GB of RAM and the Xperia 10 VI with 6 or 8GB of RAM. It is not yet known when the other two devices will be revealed, and they could also arrive in May or later.
