American actress Suzanne Somers, former star of Three’s Company and Step by Step, has died at the age of 76. He died Sunday morning and would have been 77 on Monday, Sommers wrote the people magazine.

Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of October 15. She had beaten an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years. Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family. His family gathered to celebrate his 77th birthday on October 16 The actress’ family said in a statement: “Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life and want to thank the millions of fans and followers who loved her so much.”

Suzanne Somers was born on October 16, 1946 in San Bruno, California. His acting career began in the late 1960s with small roles in Bullitt, Daddy’s Gone A-Hunting, and Fools. Somers became an actor known throughout America for his role in the sitcom Three’s Company, which ran from 1977 to 1984. He left the series after the fifth season in 1981 after getting into a contract dispute with the producers.

A decade later, she again took on the lead role in a prime-time sitcom: in the series Step by Step, she played Carol, a mother of three from Wisconsin, who was married to Frank, played by Patrick Duffy, who also had three children. children. The series about the daily life of a large family was shown on ABC in America from 1991 to 1997, and the final seventh season was broadcast on CBS. In Hungary, in 1996, HBO aired the series One of Two.

Somers has written more than 25 books on healthy living, many of which have become bestsellers. In April 2000, she was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer, followed by radiotherapy. In August of this year, she announced on her Instagram page that she had returned to breast cancer after more than twenty years.
