1. Vienna, Austria

The giant wheel on the Prater in Vienna is one of the symbols of the city. Here you can enjoy a stunning view of the city from a height of approximately 65 metres. The Ferris wheel in Vienna was created in 1897 to honor the upcoming 50th anniversary of Emperor Franz Joseph’s accession to the throne.

Since last year, especially daring people have been able to enjoy an extraordinary adrenaline rush here, because a steel structure with a glass floor has been created on platform No. 9 of the roller coaster, which has no side walls or roof. Visitors are secured only by harnesses and can therefore experience the incomparable altitude intoxication associated with sightseeing.


2. Munich, Germany

One of the main attractions of Munich’s famous Oktoberfest is the Ferris wheel, erected in 1880, which was only 12 meters high. At the festival, which attracts more than 6 million visitors annually, visitors can now watch the events from the 50-meter-high Ferris wheel.

At 135 metres, the London Eye is the largest Ferris wheel in Europe and currently the fourth tallest in the world. 800 people can travel on the Ferris wheel on the banks of the Thames at the same time.

4. Paris, France

Rue de Paris is a 60-metre-tall monument built for the 2000 millennium celebrations on Place de la Concorde in Paris. This Ferris wheel is considered one of the largest monsters that can be disassembled and transported, as it is installed by a special team in 72 hours and dismantled in 60 hours.

Hungary’s tallest mobile Ferris wheel, 60 meters high, has graced Erzsébet Square since 2013. The Budapest Eye seats 332 people and has 42 air-conditioned, enclosed cabins for eight people, plus a VIP cabin for four people.
