a Frogwares studio is one of the most famous experts in adventure games, their games have been entertaining fans for nearly two decades. The studio is getting more and more famous with Sherlock Holmes games, and now I’ll add another episode to the franchise.
This is because a file Sherlock Holmes: Chapter 1In which we are seeing one of the first cases of a young investigator, who is barely 21 years old. Additionally, this case is somewhat personal, as he will investigate his mother’s murderer.
The game consists of five main missions and more than thirty side missions, which can be folded into the open world that can be freely explored. The developers promise that some of the side missions will also compete with the main ones in size. If we just focus on the story, we can reach the endgame in about 12-15 hours, but that time can swell to 40-50 hours with side quests.
In the new preview, we can also see our hero investigate and interpret signs, fight and disguise. The visual world also promises to be completely fair, though it can feel the typical sterility of Frogwares games on it.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter 1 is scheduled for release later this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X. ■
