Paprika Studios and RTL Hungary will continue to pitch the idea for the international TV stadium forum series, Hypewriter, in 2022 as well. The competition, now in its fourth year, aims to seek ideas for the most innovative new TV series and their talented creators. The prize for the winner is ten thousand euros, a screenplay will be filmed first of its entry, after which a pilot episode will be filmed, which will be presented to the public thanks to RTL Hungary – read the announcement sent by the organizers .

Applications are open from May 30 to July 7 on the Hyperwriter website. As they write, the Hypewriter awaits the ideas of the most original TV series and their talented creators without any restrictions on genre.

In addition to budding and experienced screenwriters, we also welcome applicants who have so far mostly come up with better series ideas to entertain themselves and their environment.

Among the entries, an international jury of famous television and film professionals will select the eight best, whose creators will be invited to the Presentation Forum in Budapest at the end of September. The final has been held in English three times in the past, providing the opportunity to introduce ourselves to invited guests and members of the press.

Last year’s competition saw a record with over 450 entries, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, but the field, which includes a total of 38 countries, also included artists from the United States, India, Brazil, Iran, Australia or Zambia.
