Hungarian National Esports Championship kicks off with record prizes

In eight matches, a total of 12 million HUF will be distributed to the participants of the third season of the Hungarian K&H National Esports Championship, which has just begun.

To date, 3,000 individual entries and 371 teams have been received in the seven-month competition series.

At Thursday’s online press conference, Nora Horvat Magyari, head of communications for K&H Group, noted that the number of video players in Hungary exceeds 3.8 million, and the number of e-sports consumers has crossed half a million.

In the third season of this year, players can compare their knowledge with a total prize pool of HUF 12 million in eight matches.

Regarding the details, he revealed that in addition to the league title, cup and recognition, the LoL and R6S teams can take 3-3 million Ft, and the Valorant teams 2 million Ft, while the GTSport, iRacing and Roket League teams can each take 500,000 Ft.
