Lucid Dreams Studio’s upcoming 2D platformer, BIOMORPH, looks really promising based on the announcer’s trailer, as it will blend elements from Soulslike and Metroidvania style programming.
BIOMORPH takes us to a post-apocalyptic world, with our hero we will visit the city of Blightmoor to find answers about our past. We will have to solve different puzzles while navigating through the 2D platforming elements.
The battles seem a bit more exciting because Our defeated opponents will rise later and come back newer and stronger. Of course, we will be able to develop our hero with various accessories, weapons and skills that are on our way, so that we will have a chance during quick battles.
It is interesting that we can take the form of our defeated enemies and use their abilities against another ugliness. The story will not get bored prematurely either, the story will have surprises in store, surprising and disturbing details about the origin of our hero will be revealed during our journey.
A variety of locations, boss battles and a city to explore, Blightmoor await, so we won’t get bored while playing BIOMORPH, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch console and PC next year.
