Registration for the region's most important economic case study competition is open

Students of all universities offering a course in economics in the Hungarian language can participate in the competition. Based on the trends of previous years, hundreds of students can apply from many universities in the Carpathian Basin region.

When solving cases, in addition to creativity, innovation and uniqueness, financial feasibility is also important. Students can learn not only about complex company problems, but also about corporate cases.

The purpose of the competition is to provide a platform to connect companies and outstanding talented and motivated students.

The registration period begins on February 19 For the online round, solutions can be submitted between February 26 and March 10. The 12 most distinguished teams can measure themselves between April 13 and 15, in the framework of the national final.

During the online tour, company representatives have the opportunity to guide teams of four in an online chat format. Then, in the final event of the competition, the national final, a number of networking events give both parties the opportunity to build relationships, and during the final, during presentations, members of the jury commissioned by the companies can learn about the solutions and way of thinking of the 12 best teams – and the jury provides useful advice. It can transfer professional knowledge to competitors.

The total prize money for OEV is 1 million HUF, of which the main prize of the competition is 500,000 HUF, second place is worth 300,000 HUF, while third place is worth 200,000 HUF.
