The latest update has boosted the popular messenger with an army of animated emojis.
In 2014, Google launched its own SMS and RCS messaging platform called Android Messages, which aims to be a replacement for iMessage on an automation platform. The service, which has since been renamed simply as Messages, has received several significant updates over the years, including the introduction of two-way encryption.
Although the latest update does not bring such far-reaching changes, it can give emoji lovers a few fun moments.

The bad news is that the update is currently only available in beta, but as time goes on, animated icons will definitely make their way to the public release as well.
