County Awards Ceremony: Become the best swimmer and athlete

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 ceremony has been postponed and the event scheduled for December 2021 can now be held in May by the organizers Veszprém County Municipality and Veszprém County Sports Association.

Imre Bulgardi, President of the General Assembly of the Municipality of the Province, welcomed the participants, and emphasized that their performance is worthy of appreciation and an example to follow. Their example shows that hard work and perseverance pay off. At the same time, this path should not be walked alone, you need encouragement and support, be it from family, coach or other outside help. Sport and its support play a prominent role in our country, and this is not only seen in the results, but also in the outstanding events that our country has hosted recently.

At Friday’s event, the Endre Tüskés Awards were presented first. This year, Josef Buda, Istvan Putz, Andras Sigmund and Josef Vajda receive the prestigious award – with which they honor the memory of the former director of the Veseprem County Sports Bureau every year.
