Internal documents have surfaced regarding a lawsuit that an iPhone nano mini-mobile phone was planned.
Regarding an ongoing lawsuit between Apple and Epic Games were found Internal documents that say Apple was already considering launching a small iPhone under the direction of Steve Jobs.
Specifically, they received a 2010 email from Steve Jobs stating that the idea of an iPhone nano could have been discussed at a meeting.
No further information on this was found, and only design discussions would have been held from the start. Since this was going to happen in October 2010, the nano model was supposed to have been built on the iPhone 4 or 3GS. However, in the end, Apple put these plans on ice, although it is important to note that at the time, the iPhone 4 was only 115 x 58 mm, which is much smaller than any smartphone today. Thus the nano-model would have been a very strange idea at the time.
While it didn’t become an iPhone nano, the iPhone 12 mini faced it last year, which ultimately proved to be an ugly meltdown. It will have another successor next month, and then in 2022 that small line is said to be decimated.
