The UK’s top secret service sent a Christmas greeting card to colleagues again this year, but in order to understand the message they have to solve a puzzle, he writes CNN.

After the card was distributed to all employees, the Government Contact Center (GCHQ) also published the VIP puzzle.

GCHQ wrote in a statement on Friday.

The mission is as follows:

Complete the nine lines of letters below, then place the answers you receive into the gilded blank dots in the ornament shown in the image. Follow the arrows from some half-hearted parts to get the message.

The letters are as follows: GFEDCB_; NOHHPQ _; MDCLXV_; POIUYT_; DPLLMS_; HHELIB_; Namoon_; EOEREX_; And GMRDPR_.

GCHQ will soon post the solution on its official social media sites, but for the time being, it will leave some time for everyone to think. It should be, because at first glance it doesn’t look easy, and many commentators quickly gave up on trying.
