It only takes a few seconds and it’s up and running.
Basically, we can pretend to be anyone on the Internet. In the age of social media, this is not very surprising, and there are not a lot of scams and scams that happen because of it. With some basic information available to all users, we can change the look in no time, and we don’t even have to make a special effort to convince anyone.
A similar case also appears in a recent popular TikTok video, where a user named et.nya made a streamer girl think he was her father, who had just joined the stream, within seconds.
Moreover, it was not necessary to be specifically interrupted for this. All it takes is a profile picture taken from Facebook and finding a nickname there, and the magic has already happened.
At first, even the streamer was very skeptical about it, but it didn’t take much convincing for him to finally give in and believe that his father was also there on the live broadcast.
A lot of people had a good laugh about it, but there were also those who were stunned to realize how much risk and abuse really was involved. However, this was not the first time the user had shocked people, as he had already trolled several live streams with broadcasters’ selfies.
This case could once again serve as an important reminder that we should think twice about what kind of revealing information we leave behind on the Internet, because our photos and data on the Internet these days can be misused without serious knowledge.
