Extension without compensation payments

Land ownership is a sensitive issue in South Africa, for three decades from the end of the apartheid, most of the lands suitable for agriculture in the estate of eggs remain. Only four percent of arable land belongs to blacks, who make up 80 percent of the population. Therefore, the government is under pressure to implement the reforms. The land decline law was signed by South African President Cyril Ramavusa in January.
