The most powerful Android phone that does not use a Snapdragon processor

There is nothing surprising in the fact that the current main list of AnTuTu is led by a smartphone for gamers, but what is most interesting is that it is a device with a MediaTek processor. It is worth looking at the mobile phones that rank first according to the industrial test application, which made a compilation not only on top models, but also on the results of “affordable” high-end and mid-range devices.

The list of smartphones with high-quality chips is one MediaTek Dimensions 9000+ It’s driven by a mobile player, and it is Asus ROG 6D Ultimate phone. In fact, it is the only smartphone in the AnTuTu Top 10 Apps list that is not powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Incidentally, there has never been an example of a chipset made by MediaTek topping the AnTuTu list, which is a great fact even if the second and third places are not far behind. It’s interesting that graphics performance lags a bit behind chips made by Qualcomm, but the CPU scores higher.

The second summary takes us to the world of high-end affordable mobile phones, where MediaTek is also at the top, or rather Dimensions 8100 max driven by OnePlus Ice. By the way, the list contains almost mobile phones supported by Dimensity 8100 and 8100 Max, only the last ranked Vivo S15 has a different chipset, which is Snapdragon 870.

Snapdragon-powered smartphones dominate the mid-range, at least according to the AnTuTu list, the two fastest devices are powered by Snapdragon 778G, both of which are products of the Vivo sub-brand: Z6 took first place, Z5 took second place. And the bronze medal was won by the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G, under the hood of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile phone that performs the calculations.
