The United States may have approved a plan for a series of strikes against Iranian targets in Syria and Iraq. BBC writes Quoting American officials.

Retaliatory strikes may continue for several days, and weather conditions will determine the timing of their launch. In a counter-strike, the US Secretary of Defense said, Lloyd Austin saidThis will actually happen in several waves. This all happened after three American soldiers were killed in a drone attack in Jordan, near the Syrian border, on Sunday. The United States blamed an Iranian-backed armed group for the attack.

Since the outbreak of fighting in Gaza, this is the first attack on Americans in the Middle East that also claimed lives. US President Joe Biden hastily announced after the attack that those responsible for the attack “will be held accountable.” Since the announcement and the world has been anxiously awaiting the US President's answer, we have written more about its importance here.

Iran previously denied any role in the attack, in which 41 American soldiers were injured in addition to the three killed. Trump strongly criticized Biden for this situation: according to him, Sunday's attack would not have happened during his term, just as Hamas, backed by Iran, would not have attacked Israel.
